LET THERE BE BLOOD
A publication about my dissertation, which explores the
shortcomings of branding, and advertising for mainstream menstrual hygiene products.
Through manipulating pictures from old tampon and pad ads,
I highlight the lack of blood and over sexualization of women that has existed for decades.
The final publication is bound together with tampon strings. This invites the reader to challenge any ideas about menstrual products being anything other than functional objects.
